    Simulation Technology

Keeping people in peak performance

Pivot simulators aim to keep mariners in peak performance. Powered by cutting edge technology, they are known for their accuracy, flexibility, and affordability.

Client Markets

Our clients come from the commercial shipping, recreational boating, and defence sectors.

Maritime training institutions, maritime safety regulators, shipowners, ports, pilots, tug providers, and defence organisations use them for training, competency and operational assessment, and research.

The Triple A of Simulation

Accuracy. Availability. Affordability.

Three strengths that separate us from the rest

We pride ourselves in building powerful bridge simulation systems that can do many tasks with mathematical precision, from basic to complex, at a fraction of the cost of typical maritime simulators.

We have designed them to be flexible, modular and robust so they can travel anywhere and operate even in harsh environments.

Pivot bridge simulators comply with the simulation requirements of DNV 2011 and STCW 2010.

Simulation Products

Pivot simulators range from highly portable desktop simulators to full-mission simulation systems.

Big or small, off the shelf or custom built, our simulators come equipped with real ship controls and real navigation equipment.

The simulation environment is accurate and realistic, with calculations based on mathematical algorithms, giving clients a high level of confidence in simulation results.

Our simulators are put to work in different settings: Navigation. Port design and operations. VTS. Towage. Pilotage.

Bridge Simulation Consoles

Bridge Simulation Consoles

Stand-alone consoles capable of up to 200˚ vision. Like the Full Missions, they can be equipped with real ship controls and navigation equipment, and be fitted with integrated ECDIS, VTS, radar, and AIS functions. A number of console models to choose from, either as stand-alone or networked with other consoles. Featured is our Flexicon, whose clever design allows it to morph into different types of simulators (from a ship's bridge to a tug to an offshore supply vessel with views down on the deck). Flexicon has a bridgewing complete with its own dedicated controls and instruments.

Portable Desktop Simulators

Portable Desktop Simulators

Highly portable and robust, but packing the same simulation power as their bigger siblings. Featured is our Combined Vessel Simulator (CVS) which combines two vessel simulators into one unit, allowing mariners to practice vessel to vessel manoeuvres (ship/ship or ship/tug) wherever they may be. The CVS will model the vessel on which it is installed. Transport them to where your people need them. Use them for ongoing training and practice, or to test manoeuvres before your vessel enters an unfamiliar location.

ECDIS Simulators

ECDIS Simulators

Like the Combined Vessel Simulator, our ECDIS simulators are highly portable and robust, and packing the same simulation power as their bigger siblings. Designed for ongoing ECDIS training, practice, and assessment, they can be easily installed in any location. As featured, multiple hi-res visuals can be displayed on a single split screen: ECDIS on one half of the screen, on the other you can toggle between any number of visuals (conning controls, radar, instructor station), all at a click of a button. In partnership with Furuno, our ECDIS Simulators are installed with Furuno ECDIS systems and equipment.
